How to use the LUMIN App

Song info

Now Playing song info

  • Song Title
  • Artist Name
  • Album Title.
  • Codec Name
  • Audio Sample Rate
  • Audio Bit Rate
  • Data Rate.

Figures in brackets show upsampled rate, e.g. 44.1 kHz (2.8 MHz), 16 bit (1 bit) shows that the original sample rate was CD quality, and LUMIN is upsampling to DSD.

Tap the Artwork to enter Fullscreen Mode. Tap again to exit.

Now playing control

Control

  • Skip back Skip Back to previous song, or replay current song in Playlist. Note: When the current song is within the first 5 seconds, this control will skip back to the previous song; otherwise it will replay the current song.
  • Play Pause Play/Pause: Toggles between play and pause.
  • Skip forward Skip Forward:  Skips to the next song in the Playlist.
  • Note: To Stop, you can tap Pause and then tap Skip Back. This resets the Timeline of the song to zero.

  • Shuffle Shuffle:  The next song is selected at random from the whole Playlist.
  • Repeat Repeat:  The whole Playlist will loop.

Timeline Ring

  • Current Song Time
  • Total Song Time

Tap the Timeline Ring to reveal controls to:

  • Restart Restart
  • Fast Forward Fast Forward
  • Rewind Rewind
  • Tap and hold the Forward/Rewind buttons to seek.

Volume ring

Volume Ring

  • Current Volume percentage

Tap the Volume Ring to reveal controls to:

  • Mute Mute
  • Increase Volume Increase volume
  • Decrease Volume Decrease Volume
  • Tap and hold the Forward/Rewind buttons to seek.

Notes:

  • The least signal processing occurs at level 100.
  • When less than 100, the default volume control algorithm is Leedh Processing.
  • The number displayed may be higher than the actual volume due to the Max Volume % setting. e.g. If this volume ring is 80, but the Max Volume % is 70, then the actual volume is 80 × 70% = 56.
  • The Volume Ring can be hidden in settings if it is not required.
