An Amazon Music Prime account will play in a very limited 'shuffle' mode. An Amazon Music Unlimited account is required for a typical streaming experience.

Amazon Music Unlimited is built right into the heart of the LUMIN App, featuring the same LUMIN browsing interface, Now Playing screen and searching capabilities.

Note that currently, the playlist is Amazon-specific with the new ability to swap between the Amazon Playlist and the traditional mixed UPnP/TIDAL/Qobuz/KKBox Playlist.

Qobuz Connect is a technology built into the LUMIN Firmware that allows the Qobuz App to be used to directly control LUMIN. Qobuz subscribers can stream their library of 100 million songs directly to LUMIN hardware, switch effortlessly between playback devices and access the curated music selections and magazine.

What is QRONO d2a

QRONO d2a is a method of applying MQA filters and noise shapers to the analogue output of all PCM files aiming to improve impulse response and transparency in digital-to-analogue conversion.

LUMIN + QRONO d2a

On LUMIN models X1 / P1 / P1 Mini / T3X / T3 / T2 (i.e. models containing dual ES9038PRO ES9028PRO DAC chips), QRONO d2a can be selected in the MQA setting.
Note that QRONO d2a will funtion on local music, Roon, TIDAL, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz and KKBox only.
